Gstaad Kickboxing – Empowering Women and Children through Self-Defense

Gstaad Kickboxing is a part of the association I am my bodyguard, which is located in Saanen.
I am my Bodyguard is a community based organization committed to empowering women and children with the knowledge and skills to protect themselves against all forms of violence, including sexual violence, domestic violence, gender-based violence, female genital mutilation (FGM) and femicide.
Gstaad Kickboxing contributes in different ways to I am my Bodyguard.
First of all, the trainings empowers children and women to defend themselves against all forms of violence. Women and teenagers train together with men, so that they learn how to protect themselves. Children until the age of 13 train in a group of their own for free.
Once in two month there will be a special self-defense training weekend for children, teenager and women.
With the profit of Gstaad Kickboxing we aim to give special self-defense trainings in different countries all around the world.
